12-section PP mattress platform, designed for part bedboard left/right lateral tilting (turn over function); carved by the high grade precise engraving machine; with ventilating holes, curved corners and smooth surface, look perfect and easy clean.
Side rails are compliant to the EN 60601-2-52 international hospital bed standard and aid patients who are able to egress the bed independently.
Backrest auto-regression extends pelvic area and avoids friction and shear force on the back, so as to prevent the formation of bedsores.

Why is HOPEFULL ICU bed equipped with weighing scale system?
Weighing ICU beds are a valuable tool used in hospitals to weigh bedridden patients. The risk increases if the patient is seriously ill and bedridden. Fluid fluctuations in patients can have adverse effects, such as dehydration, swelling, and associated pathology due to low homeostasis. Changes in body weight over a short period of time are the main indicators of fluid imbalance. Weighing beds can be used to determine trends in body weight, which may be clinically important. This helps monitor the weight of patients who are seriously ill or too unwell to sit or stand. For example, a patient with congestive heart failure who gains 3 or 4 pounds overnight may get worse and require a change in treatment. In this way, the weighing bed plays a great role in adjuvant therapy.
